Our Team
At NH SOLAR our employees are the driving force of our company, and without their hard work and effort, progression is not possible. To this end we invest heavily in training and see it as critical to our success.
Each of our 4 installation teams consists of a qualified electrician and two solar technicians. With over 20 years combined experience our teams ensure that the installation process is straight forward and perfect.
Through training, continuousness learning and improvement we ensure the high-quality installations and service we proudly provide to our customers.
Veronique Grey
Sales Coordinator
Veronique Grey is our dedicated Sales Coordinator and a trusted guide for clients exploring solar energy solutions. She holds a BCom Honours degree from NMMU and brings valuable experience in large-scale renewable energy projects.
With a strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for customer service, Veronique ensures every client enjoys a seamless and well-supported journey into solar. From assisting with your NH Solar quotation to keeping you informed throughout the process, she is committed to making your transition to solar simple, clear, and stress-free.
Waldo Boshoff
Technical Sales Manager
Waldo holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and an MBA from Nelson Mandela Bay University. He is an engineer with more than 15 years’ experience. He has always had particular interest in technical fields and a passion for all things solar and renewable energy. He has vast experience and technical knowledge with solar and battery storage systems and enjoys advising customers on how best to improve their home or business with a well-designed quality, scalable and reliable solar energy system.
Dylan Halforty
Technical Manager
Dylan is an Electrical Engineering Graduate from NMMU with more than 25 years of experience in electrical engineering. He is an accomplished senior engineering professional who is passionate about Solar PV and Battery Storage. His experience enables him to design and install highly reliable and complex solar energy hybrid and grid connect systems. What sets him apart is his mission to provide consumers with the highest quality solar products, which offer product longevity, the best warranties and local technical support.
Chane Deysel
Admin Supervisor
Chane is a reliable professional known for her meticulousness and integrity making her an indispensable asset to our team. With a keen eye for detail, she ensures that all transactions are accurately recorded. Chane’s exceptional organisational skills are reflected in her ability to efficiently manage ensuring timely service delivery. Chane's commitment to personal and professional growth make her a well-rounded and driven individual.
Mariela Hargreaves
Finance Manager
Mariela is our Finance Manager. She holds an Honors Degree from NMMU and the CA (SA) accreditation from SAICA. Mariela has more than 20 years experience in both the private and public financial sectors. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors, and hiking is at the top of the list. She is a voracious reader and is exited to turn her skills towards Renewable Energy and Powering NH Solar clients by Sunshine.
Norman Hargreaves
General Manager
Norman studied electrical engineering at NMMU before joining industry where he developed an impressive career in electrical and mechanical engineering. He is a senior management professional with 30 years’ experience in engineering, commercial , project and operations management. The combination of his professional competence as an engineer coupled with industry experience and passion for renewable energy is what drives NH Solar.
Peter Carstens
Project Manager
With over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry Peter brings extensive expertise in both LV and MV reticulation systems. As a qualified electrician, he has successfully managed and overseen a wide range of electrical and solar projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and workmanship. His hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and commitment to excellence make him a valued leader within the NH Solar team.
Thobisa Stofile
Project Supervisor
Thobisa was born and raised in the Eastern Cape and is a qualified electrician.
After his studies he joined industry where he successfully executed numerous large scale electrical installations for both commercial and industrial clients. Thobisa’s ability to connect with clients, understand their requirements and communicate this clearly to his team ensures that every installation is completed with the highest quality workmanship and customer care.
His passion for providing positive customer outcomes and his skills in renewable energy ensures our successful projects.
Chad Thompson
Project Supervisor
With a strong work ethic and a passion for renewable energy, Chad has quickly proven himself as a valuable part of the team. Backed by hands-on experience in solar installations and a commitment to quality workmanship, he leads by example on every project, ensuring safe, efficient, and professional installations for our clients.
Jarod Jonker
Project Supervisor
Jarod is an Old Grey, Olifantsfontein Qualified Electrician with 4 years of solar industry experience, He thrives on working outdoors and enjoys the variety of different locations that each project brings. Jarod brings an infectious energy and a commitment to delivering top-notch service to our team. His dedication and technical prowess make him an invaluable asset to the NH Solar team. Outside of work, Jarod enjoys actively participating in various sports and finds great fulfilment in regular gym sessions.
